PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILMING REGULATIONS
On the grounds of the exhibition of the Museum-Zamek in Łańcut and on the grounds of the
Landscape Park and Castle Gardens
On the premises of all exhibitions, it is possible to photograph and film free of charge - only for personal, non-commercial purposes - the museumalia and the exhibition halls in which they are located. The exceptions are occasional sessions on the Orchidarium grounds, the rules for the performance of which are regulated separately.
I. Rules of photography and filming in the exhibition area: Castle, Carriage House, Stables, History of the City, including 10PSK, Church Art.
1. photography and filming is possible as long as:
a. does not disrupt tourist traffic and does not disturb Visitors,
b. does not expose museum artifacts and Museum equipment to damage,
c. does not cause harm to other Visitors (physical or related to the protection of their personal property - especially their image),
d. the photographic or video material may not be used for commercial purposes.
(2) Photography and filming are prohibited:
a. parts of systems for the protection of museum artifacts and exhibition halls,
b. taking posed photos involving people and objects,
c. use of flashes, additional lighting, tripods (floor and hand-held - the so-called "selfie sticks") and other devices inside the Museum.
d. Museum employees present at the exhibition.
(3) In the case of publication of the above-mentioned photographic and film materials, it is obligatory to include next to them the following information: , "Museum-Zamek w Łańcucie".
(4) In certain cases, it will be necessary to post the description established for the object in the wording provided by its Owner.
(5) Filming and photography for commercial purposes is possible only in exceptional, particularly justified cases. Interested persons should submit a request in writing at least 7 days before the planned activity or before visiting the Museum in order to obtain possible permission and prepare a contract.
(6) The Museum shall not be liable for infringement by third parties of the personal rights of Visitors or causing them other damage due to the taking of photographic and film images.
(7) The museum may forbid photography and filming of those museum artifacts, the owner of which has not consented to it.
II. Rules of photography and filming in the exhibition area: Orchidarium.
(1) Photography and filming on the Orchid House premises is possible as long as:
(a) does not disrupt tourist traffic and does not interfere with Visitors and Employees in the performance of their duties;
b) does not expose the exhibits and equipment of the Orchidarium to damage, and does not interfere with the operation of technical equipment (during photography and filming, it is not possible to turn off the climate control equipment - including foggers);
(c) photography and filming on the Orchid House premises is possible as long as it does not violate the personal rights of Visitors or otherwise cause them harm. Conducting photo sessions and filming may not promote: racism, xenophobia and offend religious feelings, regardless of religion, as well as violate generally accepted good manners. The sessions must not be vulgar in nature, as well as must not violate the good name of the Museum-Castle in Lancut;
d) the photographic or film material may not be used for commercial purposes without the written consent of the Director of the Museum-Zamek in Łańcut.
(2) Occasional photo shoots (wedding, engagement, communion, etc.) are possible only from Tuesday to Friday from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. and the operation of technical equipment (with no possibility of turning off climate control equipment - including foggers):
a) after the purchase of an entrance ticket to the Orchidarium by all participants of the session (during this time the Orchidarium is open to other Visitors). The maximum duration of the session is 30 minutes.
b) after purchasing a "session" ticket at the price of PLN 200, entry for up to three people, duration 1 hour (the Orchidarium during this hour is closed to other Visitors) under the following conditions:

during the session, its participants are obliged to observe order and follow other verbal instructions of the Orchidarium employee;
It is forbidden to bring props and other devices that may endanger exhibits and other Visitors. The Museum does not provide closet rooms or storage space and takes no responsibility for items and clothing left in the Orchid Room;
The Museum reserves the right to cancel a session or change its start and end times after informing the client in advance,
(3) Filming and photography for commercial purposes is possible after obtaining permission from the Director of the Museum and concluding an appropriate agreement detailing the terms of these activities and the associated costs.
III. Rules of photography and filming in the exhibition area: Landscape Park and Castle Gardens.
(1) It is possible to photograph and film free of charge only for personal, non-commercial purposes, without the right to publish them. Photography and filming must not interfere with tourist traffic and disturb other visitors. Taken photographs must not cause damage to the historic environment, must not promote: racism, xenophobia and offend religious feelings, regardless of religion, as well as violate generally accepted good manners. Photography must not violate the personal property of others. Photographs must not be vulgar in nature, as well as must not violate the good name of the Museum-Zamek in Łańcut.
(2) It is forbidden to make or use for commercial purposes film and photographs depicting the monuments of the palace and park complex in Łańcut on the grounds of the historic park. Taken photographs require the permission of the Director of the Museum, concluded in the form of a contract, which will specify the terms of payment depending on the purpose of the photographs or recordings and the inconvenience of making the area available, taking into account the protection against damage to monuments and other assets of the museum.
