FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN
PREPARE FOR A VISIT TO THE MUSEUM.
Before the children visit us, we remind them that the museum, is not only an unusual place, but also a special place. We do not take food or drink with us on a walk through the palace interiors. We do not touch any objects and do not sit on the furniture. They are very valuable and could get damaged. We don't run, because the castle floors are slippery and you could fall over and hurt yourself. We don't shout, because in the old castle halls our voice sounds very loud and we could disturb other visitors. And what happens if we get scared ourselves?
In the museum it is always allowed and necessary to talk, ask questions, stop for a moment to look more carefully at the most interesting objects, or even just to see a fly sitting on a painting. Be sure to check on which one!
In the museum you have to look underfoot, otherwise you can't see the beautiful floors. It is also necessary to look up to see the magnificent chandeliers. And if children get very tired, they can always sit on the floor for a while.
At the Jan Potocki Tradition Education Center in the Orangery you will see a balloon and theater. You will be able to look at Lancut from a bird's eye view, and at the balloon from a frog's perspective. You will play memory games, chess or checkers. You will dance, prepare a lady's outfit for the ball, or look into the multimedia krednes.
When you need help, our staff will be happy to provide you with it..
